RC Chetan New SP of Mysuru; Pradeep Gunti new DCP

Within weeks of transferring DC and Commissioner, Mysuru SP C B Ryshyanth and DCP ( Law and Order) Dr A N Prakash Gowda were transferred from Mysuru on Wednesday.

Mysore District Superintendent of Police CB Rishyant has been transferred as Davangere SP.

RC Chetan is appointed as the new SP of Mysuru.

Chetan, originally from Tumkur, is a 2010 batch IPS officer. He had previously served as SP of Chikkamagaluru, Bellary and Davanagere.

DCP AN Prakash Gowda is transferred as the Superintendent of Police Internal Security Division (ISD), Bangalore.

2016 batch IPS office from Andhra Pradesh, Pradeep Gunti has been assigned as the city's new DCP.
