Lakshmi theatre in Mysuru to close down permanently

Mysuru's popular cinema "Lakshmi theatre" is closing down due to Covid pandemic and its subsequent lockdowns.

Lakshmi theatre on Chamaraja double road was a landmark structure for over 70 years ever since it started on April 15, 1949.

Recently, Shantala theatre on N S road in Mysuru closed permanently for the same reason. Sri Nagaraj in Mandi Mohalla is also closed now.
