MP Pratap Simha Upset over Nanjangud temple demolition

MP Pratap Simha today expressed outrage over the demolition of age old Hindu temple in Najnagud. "You cannot compare a church or a mosque, which is just a prayer hall, with a temple. There is an idol installed. Deity is there and it is emotionally connected with the Hindus'believe," MP said.

BJP MP Pratap Sinha went on to question the demolition of the shrine, and also urged the government to take appropriate action immediately against the demolished officials.

Earlier Congress leader Siddaramaiah have denounced the temple demolition.
