Watch Dasara procession live on Friday

As the 411th edition of the Mysuru Dasara celebration will come to an end tomorrow, Friday, October 15th, Chief minister Basavaraj Bommai will inaugurate the procession by offering puja to the idol of goddess Chamundeshwari placed inside golden howdah mounted on elephant Abhimanyu at Mysuru Palace around 4.30pm on October 15.

The celebration will be telecast live on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/mysorevarthe/live/) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/c/Mysuruvartheilaake) and the public will be able to watch it online. Dasara procession is likely to last for 45 minutes and it will start at 4.36pm after traditional Nandi Dhwaja pooja.

There will be nearly 350 artistes marching along with the elephants, police troupe and tableaux during the cultural cavalcade of Dasara. Six tableaux are expected to be on the procession.

The Mysuru Palace will remain shut for visitors till 2.30pm on Thursday as part of the Ayudha Pooja celebration by the Mysuru Royal Family.
